Layout
Six arrangements, each drawn as a small picture; the selected one has a frame.
| Layout | |
|---|---|
| Two windows | The phone in one window, everything else in another. |
| Multiple windows | The phone, and a window of its own for each of the other sections. |
| Compact | A small phone, and a window beside it. |
| One window | The phone and everything else in a single window. This is the layout used in the screenshots of this documentation. |
| Edge bar | The phone as a bar along the edge of the screen, with a window under it. |
| Tray only | No window until you call it from the tray, or with the hotkey. |
Every arrangement holds the same windows; what differs is where they stand. The phone closes and opens again to change it — with the Apply and restart the phone button.
Language
The drop-down chooses the language of the interface; Same as this computer is the default. It is the interface only. What language is spoken on a call is a separate setting, and it arrives with the transcripts — see Transcription.
The prompts, rules and dictionaries that came with the program stay in their language when you switch. Restore defaults in Processing and in Dictionaries brings them into the new one.
Theme
The drop-down chooses light or dark; Same as this computer is the default. The language and the theme both take effect at once, in a call as well as out of one.
Icons
Two drop-downs set the pictures on the call buttons: the first the style (Solid in the picture), the second the size (Normal). It is a matter of taste: both weights are the same drawings, and the size changes how large they are drawn rather than which drawing is used.
